9/7/2023 0 Comments Mushroom wars for pc![]() It might show its birth in the mobile scene with easy controls but that’s absolutely not a negative thing. It can make your army faster, you can fortify your houses or boost the morale system (more on that later). These special move skills replenish when your armies get killed and can change the tide of battle. Upgrading or changing houses is done with a single button press and so are hero skills. There’s no direct control possible but it doesn’t require that. Commanding your army of mushrooms is done easily with the analogue stick and pressing the YBAX-buttons decides how many of the forces you want to move from house to house. Even without playing them, a player will quickly understand how to play and overcome enemies. None of that is found in Mushroom Wars 2! Controls are learned by playing the campaign mode with some hand-holding lessons. Easy to control | Something that scares a lot of people away from this genre is the complex controls and hard to understand mechanics.ℹ️ Reviewed on Xbox Series X | Review code provided by PR/publisher, this review is the personal opinion from the writer. There is simply not a better feeling than being a champignon. Kinda like being behind in Fifa with 0-2 but still being able to win with 3-2 in the dying minutes of the game. That said when you just won an incredible tight online battle that’s pretty awesome too. There’s quality to be found in this release!Įasily the adorable mushroom characters are the most memorable, they are so cute that I would instantly buy the plushies. This is Zillion Whales first game for the platform, they are more known as a mobile developer but don’t let that scare you away. I feel that the real-time strategy genre is lacking on Xbox, so the charming rapid-growing mushroom characters are more than welcome. This is a lot of fun(gi) and challenging to boot.LifeisXbox’s Mushroom Wars 2 review | Released a while back on PC and Nintendo Switch, I’m glad that Xbox finally has Mushroom Wars 2. Mushroom Wars has broad age appeal it can be an introduction to the strategy genre for younger players and parents won't have concerns about content, but it can also provide some serious challenges for more experienced strategy gamers. And this game is a port of an acclaimed PlayStation game, so if players have it on that platform, there's little reason to get it for PC. There are the Campaign and Skirmish modes, but the Multiplayer has yet to be released. If the game has a downfall, it's that not the entire package was delivered at launch. The battles can be short or long, and up to 4,000 units can be storming around the battlefield. There doesn't appear to be much to the game, and even the controls are scaled way back to keep it fairly simple, but once you get past the early levels of the campaign, and the battlefields become more and more populated with targets, the game takes on another dimension of challenge and fun. Mushroom Wars is bright and colorful, with appealing cartoon graphics and toned-down violence that lures players in and then delivers a solid strategic gaming experience. ![]() It's always fun to have expectations exceeded with a title that appears so simple yet delivers depth and challenge.
